Inspired by master W. Eugene Atget

Eugene Atget was one of first documentary photographers. He well known for his pictures portraying the harsh truths of street life in Paris, but most of his work was discovered only after his death.

In order to imitate Atget, I made my photo of Gurbaz black and white, posterized, and slightly filtered

I didn't have Photoshop on my computer, so all I could do with this image with paint was invert the colors, which basically made it black and white.

I completely altered the picture of  this guy's face to resemble that of the one originally portrayed in Atget's photo, but i could not alter his overwhelmingly attractive visage despite my superior editing skills.

The lighting was bad, so heavy editing was required. Despite cropping and filtering, I still couldn't get the pose quite right

Being a hopeless cause to begin with, I decided to just put the original through a few filters.
